Heidi Hosick, MS CCC-A/SLP is a speech language pathologist and audiologist with over 30 years’ experience practicing in the field of developmental disabilities. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She is the Founder and CEO of Independent Therapy Network LLC and Partners In Communication providing PT, OT, SLP, AT, and RD services to individuals in their home and community as well as a Director of Team Autism Memphis; a specialty practice with an emphasis on sensory processing disorders, feeding, AAC and ASD.
Heidi has presented at International, National and Regional conferences, school district learning days, State Educational Conferences, parent support groups and State provider forums on the topics of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), increasing communication opportunities in the classroom and home environments, fostering an environment for functional language in developmentally delayed individuals and "Say More Talk Less", an approach to engage individuals with autism.
She has worked and consulted across the spectrum of ages and environments including preschool, public school, outpatient clinics, community homes, residential institutions and day and employment settings. Heidi has specialized in coaching and training parents, direct support staff, teachers and paraprofessionals to maximize skilled interventions provided in her practices. Her treatment emphasis is always on the whole child and family incorporating her specialty training in LAMP, Pediatric Autism Communication Therapy (PACT), SPD Proficiency Level 1, PROMPT, Hanen, IM, and DIR/Floortime approaches.
Caroline Ferguson-Walsh, MS-LP(C), CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and founder of BEAR Pediatric Speech & Language Therapy, based in Chicago, Illinois. Caroline is a member of the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She holds a position as a Faculty Member of the Profectum Foundation and is a DIR-FCD™ Expert Clinician, Tutor and Trainer. Caroline was certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® in 2006 and was trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Approach to Feeding in 2010. Caroline has been a guest presenter at the Profectum Foundation Chicago Regional Conference (2012), the Profectum Foundation Chicago Education Conference (2019) and provides local and virtual trainings on supporting families of children with communication disorders, and the DIR-FCD™Model. Caroline has worked in a multitude of settings including pediatric hospitals, early childhood facilities, schools, homes and private practice in the United States, Canada and Ireland. Her clinical focus includes providing assessments and treatment to children with developmental delays, autism and disorders of relating and communicating. She is dedicated to coaching and supporting families to be an integral part of the clinical team.
M. Claire Campbell, M.A., CCC-SLP, ATP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist with over a decade of practice in the pediatric sector. Claire is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America, the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, the International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, the Tennessee Association for Assistive Technology, and the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. In addition to the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and RESNA Assistive Technology Professional certification, Claire is a LAMP certified provider through the Center for AAC and Autism. Claire has presented over 100 professional development courses in the area of AAC at both the state and national level. She is currently engaged in research investigating caregiver education and coaching practices as it relates to AAC use and abandonment. Her daily practice is focused on children with a variety of diagnoses using AAC devices, with a particular interest in alternate access technologies. In addition, she is the liaison to the multidisciplinary Angelman Syndrome Clinic at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Claire is a firm believer that every child has potential to communicate and that family support is an integral part of the therapy process.
Mallory Record received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with a minor in Spanish from Union University in Jackson, TN. She later graduated from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Mallory's professional energy is focused on autism, augmentative alternative communication (AAC), and early language development. She is Hanen certified in the “More Than Words” program and previously participated in a DIR Floortime mentorship program through the Profectum Foundation. She recently earned the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Outside of the office, Mallory enjoys gardening and yoga.
